January, 2022 marked fifty-five years of marriage to my soul mate . We have two daughters, two son-in-laws and four of the grandest grandchildren and three great-grands.  I am retired and enjoy spending time with family, writing, reading and my patio.

I started a journey I was not prepared for in January 2002. I would eventually see all four members of the family I was born to, pass away after very serious illness touched each of them. I began writing in journals trying to process what was happening, why and how to process it all. I would begin those writings with “Hello Father”. It was a greeting that brought our Heavenly Father so close to me it was as if he were sitting in the chair by my study table. He would walk me through the scriptures as first my mom, my middle sister, my father and finally my baby sister would pass from this life. Writing in my journal became a very significant part of my daily devotion time.

This blog is the fruition of the journey and my daily visits with Jesus. I know that many of you have had similar loss, many have had far worse than I. It is my prayer that all who pass this way find comfort in the writings you find here. This blog is created in memory of my birth family, extended family members and many dear friends who now reside in heaven.
